Welcome the 1st Annual Ph.D. Students in Public Studies Research and Practice Conference

Florida Atlantic University Association of Doctoral Students in Public Administration in collaboration with the American Society for Public Administration Gold Coast Chapter is proud to host the 2013 Ph.D. Students in Public Studies Research and Practice Conference in Boca Raton, Florida from April 5th to 7th, 2013. This conference is dedicated to full-time and part-time doctoral students doing research in the public arena. This is an opportunity to meet fellow doctoral students as well as learn about what others are researching.

Opportunity to publish in a peer reviewed journal!

We are excited to offer conference authors the opportunity to submit their paper to a special edition of International Journal of Organization Theory and Behavior. Top conference papers will be submitted to the journal editoral board for review and possibly published in the a special addition in 2013.

Below are suggested conference tracks for authors to submit their work to. However, if you do not see a track which fits your research topic and is the field of public studies please submit to the 'Open' track.

Call for Extended Abstracts:

For those interested in submitting a paper, please submit an extended abstract by
November 30, 2012.

All applicants should complete an application form and submit their abstracts, which are
at least 600 words, consisting of research questions, theoretical framework and
methodology at https://www.easychair.org/conferences/?conf=phdstudentconference.

The conference registration fee is $50.
